We’re looking good and feeling good! Baseline functionality is complete, and we’re moving along into the final stages. After a few more tweaks and fixes, we will be well into the homestretch towards submission.
We have a gamut of technologies used and will be spending most of the time from here to the finish line working on a polished presentation.
We can’t wait to show you all the finished product!

Our team is cruising ahead with their build — our Discord hasn’t exactly been silent, but our usual back-and-forth banter has been largely tabled for the time being. You know the team has been focused when their meme channel hasn’t had an image post in the last…almost 18 hours!
The afternoon status meeting is chalk-full of details about some awesome features and a myriad of integrations that are being developed.
Configuring our test accounts, verifying…and re-verifying our credentials is on a few of our team’s to-do lists, but we’re on-track to confirm that all of our accounts are working as expected, which is a huge boon to our time frame.
Next up is an internal demo to take our team’s feedback and iron out the presentation to make it as polished as can be.
Our next status call is projected for later this evening; stay tuned for more insight to Team Scrantonicity’s 2020 ServiceNow Hackathon build!

The 2020 ServiceNow CreatorCon Virtual Hackathon is officially underway as the first event of Knowledge20! Year after year, the ServiceNow Hackathon is a great opportunity for Knowledge attendees to put their insight of the NOW Platform to the test. This year, there are more than 150 teams competing for the top spot in one of five categories: Healthcare, telecom, manufacturing, banking and social good.
Team Scrantonicity is excited to return to the competition for our third-straight year. This iteration of our team includes both veterans of our previous Hackathons as well as members who are new to the Hackathon experience.
In 2019, Team Scrantonicity earned the top spot with their automated expense reporting application, Reizen, which utilizes automation capabilities as well as Virtual Agent so that when traveling, users can file their expenses for travel, hotels and rideshares with ease.
In 2018, our team’s first Hackathon entry took home third place by developing NutriNow, a workplace health application that allows users to track their calories, exercise, steps and overall personal health so they can encourage physical activity for themselves and their coworkers.
Although the COVID-19 pandemic has altered the format of the Hackathon and the Knowledge20 sessions overall, our team aims to continue their pattern of collaboration and execution throughout this three-day event!
