*Update as of 11/04/20: We successfully completed our second drop-off for the NEPA Youth Shelter as we continue into the month of November, contributing over $500 worth of goods from their Wish List! Some of the items purchased were to aide a young man at the shelter get settled in his new apartment. As of now, the NEPA shelter requests new or gently used boys toddler clothing from newborn to 2T.
Throughout September and into October, our We Care community outreach program has been supporting the NEPA Youth Shelter in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Their mission revolves around seeking an answer to the problem of homeless youth in Northeastern Pennsylvania by providing emergency shelter to unaccompanied minors aged 14-19.
Servicing all counties of northeastern Pennsylvania, the NEPA Youth Shelter provides everyday essentials such as food, clothing, and bathrooms. They also offer additional services such as educational support, counseling, family reunification, and preparation for independent living.

As of September 1st, their team was able to collect seven computers as well as establish a secure Wi-Fi for teens to use to attend school virtually. They also provide a basic lunch as well as dinner to the students who attend.
