Home activities for STEM learning — Women to Watch: Tech Watch

With recent events keeping us at home, Mary wanted to take this time to talk about the lack of women in technology and how to address the situation by influencing the next generation of females with at-home STEM activities.

The technology industry is a great place to be for job seekers and Mary believes the number of jobs will only grow. With so many opportunities, getting girls interested at an early age without forcing it is key.

Making technology, or any subject, a part of everyday life is a great way to foster a love or interest without forcing or overdoing it. With Google at your fingertips, there are so many activities available for kids of all ages that require no more than everyday household items.

Check out Mary’s suggestions below for this week’s Tech Watch segment on Women to Watch with Sue Rocco.
