Early in her career in the 90s, Mary was introduced to her first role in a NJ based technology company. As one of two women in the office, she became very aware of how few women were encountered in the tech industry – both in the company and our customers.
Mary quickly realized that if she wanted to advance and take her talents to the next level, she had to get out of her own way and reach the level of confidence needed to achieve what she wanted in a male dominated industry. Therefore, she started to focus more on carrying herself with the level of confidence needed to be a leader and not so much on the number of men in the room.
Fast forward to today and look at her now – Chief Operating Officer of her own company!
