Everything we do online leaves a trail of breadcrumbs called a digital footprint. This happens when we post a photo, leave a comment, update our status or get tagged in a photo by someone else.
For example, if you were to look up your old Myspace account – chances are it’s still there!
Your digital footprint is permanent and builds a complete profile of who you are and have been in the past. It’s incredibly difficult to remove traces of your footprint so its important to remain mindful and take certain precautions.
