In Carmine Gallo’s book, Five Stars, he says “Aristotle believed that without human connection, we have no community. Without community, there can be no happiness. And if we’re not happy, we will fail to flourish.”
As a founding Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Pathways Consulting Group, Mary says “It’s important for the team at Pathways to feel as though they are part of a community. By empowering employees to be a part of the decision-making process and providing transparent company goals, Pathways has been naturally successful. 'We listen, We care, We execute' are the core values the company lives and breathes. These values are the reason that the company has been so fortunate in attracting extremely talented team members to their Pathways community.”
In addition to her daily responsibilities to the company, Mary believes that the community around us is equally important, so in 2018 she started the company’s We Care Community Outreach Program. The team at Pathway’s quickly embraced the program and is making a difference by assisting local not-for-profit organizations through donations every month.
Excellent service is crucial to the success of Pathways and client projects. Mary’s philosophy is that client loyalty is earned. Therefore, she works every day with the team to improve Pathways’ processes. “We have an 85% retention rate of our clients, which we take great pride in. Additionally, we maintain an average score of 9.8 out of 10 on customer satisfaction, but I believe there is always room for improvement.”
Mary is part of the Watch Team on the radio show Women To Watch. Her Tech Watch segment can be heard every Sunday night during the Susan Rocco show at 7:00 p.m. on 1210 Radio Philly or radio.com. Her segment consists of insights, research and the latest topics and happenings in the tech industry.
In her spare time, she works with other women helping them transform their dreams into profitable businesses or careers. She shares her talents and story of success (and failure) to provide help and support towards other women and young girls dreaming of a successful career and lifestyle in business.
She is a firm believer in the catchphrase "don’t reinvent the wheel" when others have paved the way. Learning through the successes and failures of others can help fast forward the path to success if you’re willing to listen.
Mary’s greatest passion is spending time with her family and enjoys being a new Grandmom. The beach is her favorite place to decompress.
