Pathways to sponsor Fights4Vets Boxcar Brawl

For the second straight year, Pathways is proud to sponsor the Fights4Vets Boxcar Brawl on Friday, August 31 at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel in downtown Scranton.

Fight4Vets is a Scranton, Pa-based non-profit dedicated to helping veterans and organizations that support veterans.

Pathways’ technical trainer Matt Swarts spoke with the  organizers about the upcoming event. “We came up with the Fight4Vets event about six years ago. It has grown into a great fundraiser which has thousands of attendees come and support veterans while [also] being able to see some entertaining local amateur boxing.”

“It’s important to note that no one pays themselves with any of the money that’s raised,” added Swarts. “Everything other than the overhead cost goes directly to the training and raising of service dogs for disabled veterans.”

Tickets to this event can be purchased at:

  • The Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel
  • The Weston Fieldhouse
  • Morganz Pub & Eatery
  • Carmella’s Italian Deli and Pastries
