Last Saturday, July 3, Pathways sent two teams to participate in the Fight4Vets charity golf tournament at Pine Hills Country Club in Taylor, PA.
Fight4Vets strives to consistently meet and exceed the needs of local veterans. They rely on the support of local organizations to help accomplish their goals and broadening their reach to help additional veterans in Northeast Pennsylvania, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Proceeds from the golf tournament will be used to help NEPA veterans who are facing difficulties or financial hardships that cannot be fulfilled by the Veteran’s Affairs office. Fight4Vets have also sponsored and paid for the training of service dogs that are then paired with local vets, as well as monetarily helping out with housing repairs like ramps, decks, windows, etc.
